Cooking Time : 15 Mins Makes 4 – 6 portions Ingredients: Lamb / Mutton pieces 1/2 kg Onions (Sliced) 2 Medium Ginger paste 3/4 tsp Garlic paste 3/4 tsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Oil 1/3 cup Salt to taste |
Preparation:
1. In a Heavy Bottom Pan, heat oil. Add Onions and fry till Golden Brown. 2. Add ginger, garlic paste and saute for 2 - 3 minutes. 3. Add Salt, turmeric, chill Powder and saute for 1/2 a minute Add Meat and saute stirring constantly till the liquids dry up. 4. Add 1/2 cup water, cover with a tight fitting lid and cook till the meat is tender. (Approximately 20 to 30 minutes) 5. Remove lid and cook on a medium flame till all the juices are dried up. There should be just enough gravy to coat the meat. |
